Mariah Carey's album sales: ASIA (including imports)
An Asian fan did estimations a while back. I have improved them with more accurate numbers. Keep in mind Asia is a big music market (at least for Mariah, not for all Western popstars though  ) but there is little information about music sales and that stuff. These estimations do not include Western Asia (Middle East and Caucasus).
Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel and Merry Christmas II You are more recent and I was not able make an exact estimation (total). My guesses: 300k for Memoirs and 150k for Merry.

Sony Music Taiwan reported in their biography for Mariah, that Music Box sold 500,000 copies in Taiwan (the biggest international studio album ever). They also reported that when Mariah toured in Taiwan in 1998, she was presented with an 30x Platinum award (1,500,000 in sales) for all of her albums up to that point.
During a promotional visit to Hong Kong, Mariah was presented with a Platinum sales award for "Rainbow" for sales of 20,000 copies and also a special award for 1.6 million units sold for her #1s compilation in Sony Music Asia's jurisdiction (i.e. sales in Asian countries barring those in Japan).

They are so damn lazy!!!!!!!! Seriously. I see them going around in other threads but they rarely post in here.
I'm ready for the next era. "Triumphant" was actually a nice gift to her Urban fanbase and other devoted stans, because her next record is going to be more pop (probably). I wonder when she will release the lead single... December, maybe?. I can't believe we will have to wait until March to get the album. I need it so badly.

No, she said she's going to revive R&B in last interview, no?
I really hope she will release her lead single in mid Dec, and I think March is the best month to get them promo so let's just wait "It's not too far"

Yeah, the album is going to be R&B but after "Triumphant" reception I doubt the label allows her to release a non-pop song. Her urban stuff is not working for now. I'm not sure if she is able to "revive R&B". 
Mid December would be great. However, I have a feeling they will release it in January.

Triumphant was just lackluster, I don't know what to say about it anymore. I wish it would ever explode all of a sudden (ha, as if) or just die so that anticipation can grow again.

I can't believe Mariah was beaten on the VEVO game. What's happening to the world, my God?
I'm starting to think Mariah's own success has become her curse. There are so many jealous bitches out there who do anything to see her losing in a ridiculous voting. I mean, it was a legend vs nothing.  Planet Earth is officially lost.

I'm excited about her new album, but it better fresh. JD is stuck in 2005. Triumphant was nice, but it left me cold. The remixes were better.

I want her to record an epic ballad. Not like We Belong Together but more like Everything Fades Away or Till the End of Time. With an updated sound of course, but like those. They're my faves.
