Maybe by LP5 Taylor will finally be over her commercial pop phase, take a break and write her Landslide. Then showcase that song like she is with Never Ever. She can write a million amazing songs but if they don't get the same exposure as the bubble gum pop ones that read like a blind item being set to music, she gets stereotyped.

That's why I think Taylor is much closer to Moz than Ian. But if she sticks with "Dear John" style of writing, I could see sth like "The Eternal" or "Atrocity Exhibition" in the future. It's a shame tho, that US seems to love bad songs instead of promoting quality music. The question is, why is this still happening?

, I m here for her becoming a legend ala Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson or the Beatles, when people think of her, they think of thse artists...when we told the story of our lives to our kids, we d say that during the 10s there was a girl that was unparalleled and 20 years later, our kids will still know who she is 
a legend is a legend. For me artists like Herbie and Etta are>>> Michael or the Beatles because they never once conformed to what was popular for radio. You look at their catalog and they never once sold out. Now Michael and the Beatles are legends no doubt but it shouldn't be looked at that other artists are 2nd rate legends. Now Led Zeppelin those guys are on another level with their sound. I still have no idea how they had any mainstream success with the sound they put out. I'm thinking that years down the road no one will think of Alison Krauss as a 2nd rate legend despite her lack of mainstream success because she made great music it just wasn't mainstream music. Now I know you thought you were making a compliment of Taylor by saying you want her up there with those greats but I don't think you need to insult others to do that.
