You do have to respect Taylor for being the biggest crossover country success since Shania. And for showing Katy a thing or two about getting that promo.

Because Britney's AMA performances were not included in the thing. If it were she would've been top 10.

I guess I should just be thankful my fave managed to make the top 10 without award shows catering to her core genre and fanbase even being included.

The downside to excluding them is that we don't get a completely accurate ranking, and if Taylor's country performances had been included she could've landed a spot in the top 5 or top 3... which would've confirmed her status as the biggest star in the USA.

However, I appreciate GH doing this countdown + understand why he set the rules the way he did. It really is a pain looking up these numbers.
