We know the judges on The Voice can't create a star and have no idea what their job entails in those chairs. They just want to help their own careers and self promote there. They don't care a lick about the contestants.
The X Factor's panel is new an untested. Britney and Demi will pull their fanbases who don't seem them often enough as it is. Plus, why would you want to watch who came in 2nd her entire career?

If the NBC people team up with RCA and release the single and officially announce the single release and the performance, they might even create a little bit of hype for the show and attract more viewers.
