People were talking trash after trash about Pink when she released "Try This" and when "Stupid Girls" came out. Does that make her less talented? I don't think so.
Anywayz, I'm out of this. It's clear most Pink fans can't have a proper conversation without resorting to "oh, it's bigger, better, more than whatever-her-name". It's actually flattering that Britney is always the one to go when people talk about biggest things, but it gets tiring.

The only people who I believe ever expected a #1 debut are probably some stans. Other than that, P!nk has always been successful but not in the "phenomenon" type of way. Her success has never been front loaded. For the past 12 years she has proven her longevity and her ability to bring out the hits....whether if it debuts at #1 or #9.
Britney being in the game for 13 years is already a proof of her longevity. Her sales may not have been as big as her previous singles per era but she's still pulling decent numbers compared to other current/peers (girls). Dont get me wrong i do love me some P!nk. i also grew up listening to her music. But knowing both artist through the years, I say Britney still moves people stan non-stan / secret stans even the haters whenever she brings something new up to the table like no other girl.
