N.Y. Hotel: Nnnnn I gave it a 7 so I suppose for their songs this is fine, but I don't think this should be out this early either. I'm worried that The Knife is gonna be kicked out too early. Especially since Fever Ray should (mostly) be out before The Knife... (imo).
Aw, well it's not really a big deal. I don't think any of their GREAT singles will go anytime soon.

I think all three Knife songs eliminated so far are too low, I love pretty much all their stuff. I gave almost everything from them in the 8-10 range.
I enjoyed N.Y. Hotel and it shouldn't be surprising that I'm going to say it's too low. I gave it a 8.5 for the reasons I explained in the synopsis. I really couldn't give it any higher because the song is light as air and escapes from me quickly.
Not too problematic eliminations so far. I knew most people would confuse "Handy-Man" with an LMFAO song, so no surprises there.

I see the comparison but LMFAO could never. Trust me, I think you and madonnas should be pretty upset at the last elimination of the night. I know I certainly am!

Synopsis
"The Wave" was a single from male trio Miike Snow's sophomore album, Happy To You. Throughout the album and through the era's videos, the group depicts various forms of corruption in today's world by using social commentary. They also create this idea of the perfect human, which can be seen in the video, and how it leads to destruction. The song incorporates a light tapping of marching band drums under thumping piano.
Standout Line
"They told me I wasn't anything / before the bombs started falling"
It was one of my least favorites from them, I gave it a 6. The piano with the vocals is catchy but by the end of it, I realize it's pretty bland.
Yeah. I kind of love it. The marching drums mixed with the nostalgic piano really stand out. I've always thought Miike Snow makes the perfect crossover indie-pop.
Ummm I gave this a 7... so I think this is fine. For some reason I was expecting more out of the song based on the title, but I think that's just because I'm obsessed with things water-based.
This wasn't their best but definitely not their worst.
