I was SOOOO disappointed when I first heard MKIA. I was like what is this lackluster ****? Especially after hearing WDKY. However her live performances and the growing appeal of the song have made it one of my favourite Kelly songs EVER. Maybe even in my top five.
How did y'all feel when Mr.KIA came out??? I don't think I joined ATRL yet so I was hanging around KCE when it was released. I remember I was SUPER disappointed.
I'd expected a Suck-type anthem and instead got super-duper mellow with strained mid-range vocals and lyrics that made Katy Perry's album sound like Shakespeare.
But then I eventually learned to groove with it.
I loved it because I love everything KC does. Then I realized how much I was being delusional and secretly hated it.
But now I realize what a GEM it really is. Still bop to it today.

Omg when LMD and Stronger first leaked I thought LMD would overshadow Stronger, which would suck I thought because they're both such great songs . But could I be anymore wrong ? Now LMD might not even be a single LMD would've slayed as the lead

I felt the EXACT same way. Now it's honestly my favorite song off Stronger (unsurprisingly—hence the username).
