And what was Britney doing? Clubbing, ****ing and probably doing so much weed Wiz Khalifa would gasp. You also have "Heaven On Earth," Britney's a girl who wants to be in love. Blackout is Britney's life for an entire period of time that most fans still don't get/understand. She isn't named executive producer for nothing. And then you have the demos that depict even deeper how personally connected to it.
It's also telling that The Circus Tour: Starring Britney Spears had six Blackout songs and five In The Zone tracks, while she paid Circus dust with just the fabulous singles. I don't know, I believe Britney on this one over you, sistren.

I don't even need to go to the previous page to read anything about this discussion, 'Circus' has some brilliant tracks - its OWN 3 singles (Radar is a BLACKOUT track), Unusual You, Mannequin - but the rest is pretty much her managers and Jive's work, she just sang the songs, they have ZERO soul.
'Blackout' may be a heavy club album for the most of it, but like you said, that's what BRITNEY wanted then, and the Circus Tour is our ultimate proof of it.
