"Why Should I Be Sad?" is a true recollection of her relationship with him, no matter how much people dislike it (although its among the best on that album )
"Kill The Lights" was just revamped "Piece of Me" (the better and more autobiographical song), heavy on cheesy paparazzi references.
Just those two songs alone I can break down to being random carbon copies of what people expected on a "Britney is back to normal" album. I can do that with each and every messy track on the album, besides those I mentioned (the singles, "Blur," "Unusual You," and sadly "My Baby" - but it came from heart, right? Terrible but sincere-ish.)
There's no way the album is more personal/reflective than Blackout, you can't truly believe that. It and In The Zone are the blueprints of what Britney wanted to say and sound like to the public. Circus is just a manufactured product.

I agree "In the zone" is her most personal album.
"Blackout" is musically a superior album than "Circus" ... but only 3 or 4 tracks are really Britney related ... the rest of the album is compsed just of songs about sex, clubs and dancing.
"Circus" IMO was not very innovative .... and I hate "Kill the lights" LOL

.... but the overall album is slightly a bit more personal than "Blackout".
IMO
"Circus" (song) , reflects a lot of Britney
"
Out from under" makes sense, I mean there's a reason why she really wanted to include this song that was recorded by another girl, obviously she feels related to the song, and this makes the inclusion of the song sincere and organic.
"
Kill the lights" deals with her constant paparazzi battle (the song sucks) but Yep is related to Britney after all.
"
If u seek amy" is like Britney , society and perceptions, totally Britney related.
"Blur" this song totally fits with Britney's previous and chaotic lifestyle.
"My baby" a song about her kids, kind of cheesy, but I know the intention of the song was sincere.
So at least 6 tracks on the album no matter if they are good musically, are really related to Britney's experiences and persona.
now lets see Blackout....
"
Gimme More" A song about the media attention
"
Piece of me" , a brilliant statement track, its like her own "Human nature"
"
Toy soldier" this is made to diss all of her previous boyfriends, so is related to brit
"
Why should I be sad?" a great track about Kevin Ferderline
4 tracks on the album are personal .... the other ones are just songs about club, sex, dating , etc
"Blackout" is her best album .... but "Circus" is slightly more personal.
