I still can't get over the fact that 2012 Britney is a judge on a singing/performing competition... it's just beyond words... it's really ridiculous and it screams "The X-Factor: Come see if Britney will make a fool of herself on our show!!"... that's pretty much it since EVERYBODY knows she'll be like the robot she's been for a couples of years and when she will try to make those mean comments it will sound like she's reading a teleprompter badly...

Waiting paitienly for Mariah on Idol... now THAT will be genuinely interesting...

Christina has more edge now than Britney! I mean X is more beautiful, looks younger, extremely talented and has more credibility as a judge than her! And should we get into how Britney is getting paid more than Christina on X factor, for less work? I could really go on, but is there still really a point in dragging her ass back to the shadows she has lived in for nearly 15 years?

There's no doubt X Factor will be the ratings winner but who cares? Both will be successful in their own right.

I don't even see how an established publication like EW can say this. Knowing how the X-Factor has been successfully building/creating hype. They got a casting coup like Britney. But also knowing this this season of The Voice is coming SO soon after the last season. A season, I should add, that experienced hefty ratings declines.

The show didn't even started yet, but media seems already have a choice.

Also success doesn't only equals to number of rating, yes rating matters, but the whole package of the show also has its own factor. The Voice just seems has a better format and judges, that's all i can say.
