The X Factor" U.S. will have a world premiere event for the show's second season at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on September 11, 2012.
As previously reported, all of the show's judges (Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato) will be there, and several "X Factor" alumni (including One Direction) are also on the guest list.
First, all four judges will be honored with a handprint ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.
Then at 7 p.m. Pacific Time, there will be a screening that will highlight the first and second episodes of "The X Factor" U.S.'s Season 2. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the show's judges, and the Q&A will feature questions from a moderator and select members of the audience.
The full first episodes from Season 2 will be the two-part premiere that will be televised in the U.S. on Fox on September 12 and September 13, 2012, at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific Time.
