I prefer "voice of the generation" in a sense of conveying something, speaking out, rather than simply just being the most talented vocally. But you're right, neither fit that criteria.

You are pressed. Gaga electro-pop music isn't better than Katy's songs, 99% of her songs are all electro or dance pop.
