Is it bad that I'm happy with the radio updates? Country and AC are deciding that star power isn't enough to get a hit and decided the song is trash. I wish they did this with other songs as well but its a start for radio improving and hopefully she knows not to put this crap out on Country radio again. I still wish it wouldn't end her top 10 streak though

I kind of agree... however the thing that pisses me off is that they did it to Taylor only !!! seriously LMFAO, Carly and many trash songs were big on AC stations but when it comes to Taylor, they literally boycott her !!!! same on country stations, she s far of being the only one who released hybrid songs, Lady Antebellum, Underwood, Eric Church, Aldean aint pure country...as I said before country stations/world weren t "really" here for Taylor, they are just forced to play her songs because she was getting bigger...they were always bittersweet to Taylor with some shades !!!

To me, WANEGBT is a slap on her haters' face like I do what I want and f*u if you don t like it, an immature pop song with a stupid video because that s what you always wanted, and I understand it because she makes very matures songs on Speak Now and her first material but she got 0 credit, so F*** IT AND GET MONEY GURLLL

No I don't mean a lack of country sound I mean as in its a "bad" song. As far as I remember LMFAO was never played on my AC station so I'll have to look and see if they ever charted there but you are right about Carly charting and that very much surprised me because normally AC only plays mature songs but recently they've kind of changed that up the past month really was when it started looking more and more like top 40 but back on the country subject this isn't the 1st time country radio said enough is enough with some songs. Luke Bryan's Country Girl (Shake it for Me) was a very strong digital seller but because of the lack of positive reviews it missed out on the top spot and I think the top 5 as well, Toby Keith's Red Solo Cup was also a huge hit but just barely made the top 10 on country radio. This is just the farthest they've pushed it with a major star since well Alan Jackson's I still like Bologna. As far as I remember Taylor has had haters but she's also had alot of support in fact her debut she was probably one of the most respected new artists(dare I say the most respected) but with Fearless it started to shift more and Speak Now it really seemed like she turned her back on country radio. I mean I understand that others aren't country but when she 1st started she was very much country and the change in sound is really what has upset alot of people I would think. I mean if she started out like a Jason Aldean than there would be less hate because she would have never really had a pure country sound to begin with.

I'd also like to add that country radio has always been more supportive of Tay than pop radio. I mean you can say that once she peaks she drops like a rock but all Big MAchine artists have drops like that. I'd say if Tay really wanted anyone to say **** off too it should have been pop radio over the ones who have supported her since day 1.
