So any post whose purpose is to acknowledge a humorous remark is now 'pointless'? So I can expect every post along the lines of "ffff;;;;;" with a laughing smilie or gif is being warned?
It's already a precedent; post a gif with no message to contribute to the topic will warrant a warning point.
