Actually its not that bad (yet)
Probably gonna love 'Red' and 'SOG'. Dislike 'WANEGBT' and that dubstep song. About that Ed collab- i have no clue.
It kinda bothers me that she kinda comes across as a 'pop-tart' in this interview which can't be good cosidering critical reception.
Oh well...hoping for the best.

how much hip-hop and R&B she listens to. "I have so many play*lists full of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown," she says. "I love Wiz Khalifa."
|
"I love Wiz Khalifa."
i just cant picture her bopping to "Young, Wild and Free" or "Work Hard, Play Hard"

Maybe she likes only the best songs from those artists. I mean she has 2 Katy Perry songs on her iPod and they are "Thinking Of You" and "Hot and Cold" which are her best songs.
Well I agree with the Wiz part. I cringed when i read that.

Some other Taylor recommendations
Quote:
Taylor's List of Music You Should Hear
Left to Lose (Reis), Mat Kearney
'This is probably my favorite album right now, just because the lyrics are so universal and poignant. They're simple, but so true. I think lyrics are what define a song, and to me that's the most important thing. My favorite song on the album is called "All I Need" and it builds so beautifully. The cool thing about this album is the way Mat felt no rush to bringing the band into the song. In the most of the songs, there really isn't much bass or drums until the end of the song. I think that's a really cool thing.'
Jimmy Eat World (Bleed American), Jimmy Eat World
'I love this album! It came out a few years ago, and I remember just falling in love with the melody of "The Middle". And I never really understood the meaning of the song "Hear You Me" until it was played at the funeral of an 18-year-old girl I knew, who had died in an accident. I think great music has a way of having so many meanings. This song was definitely that way for me.'
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Miranda Lambert
'
There's this song on this album called "Gunpowder and Lead" that I blast in the car every time I drive.. It's actually about killing an abusive boyfriend. It's one of those songs that makes you say "Did she just say that?". She's Miranda Lambert. Yes, she most certainly did. Ha. Love her.'
Fefe Dobson, Fefe Dobson
'I think this album is amazing. It's got sort of an 80's flare to it. To me, it's pop-rock at it's coolest. There's a song on here called "Revolution Song" that helped me get through so much.. It's got lyrics like "In my dream I break the chains that hold this place together/But in my dream the consequences would be so much better/Than they are". I just love the honesty of her lyrics.'
How to Save a Life, The Fray
'I think The Fray has such a cool sound, and I first downloaded "Over My Head" right when it came out, and it had a really slow build on the charts. So when I first told my friends about this group, they were all like "uhhhhhh well I've never heard of them". Then a year later they're the hippest thing out there. It's kind of pathetic, but I take ownership a little bit because I was the first one of all my friends to become obsessed with this album.'
Tough All Over, Gary Allan
'I'd recommend this album just because of the song "Promise Broken". I think this is the coolest Gary Allan song I've ever heard, and it wasn't even a single! It's got words that kill like "Well I get pushed aside/As you move on with your life/But I'll stand the test of time/In your heart and in your mind/You'll think about me now and then/Wonder how your life might have been/But I will leave you never knowing/I'm a promise broken." Love it.'
For the Ride Home (Bonus CD), Josh Kelley
'I'm going to be honest, I liked his music before I became obsessed with Katherine Heigl, but I really became obsessed with Josh too after I started loving Grey's Anatomy. He's got an awesome voice, and he's a great singer songwriter. "Amazing" is.. well.. Amazing.'
Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing, Keith Urban
'This album is just awesome. Every song is great, and Keith is such a rock star. "I Told You So" is probably my favorite song he's ever released.'
Underage Thinking, Teddy Geiger
'Great album. He's really hot. What's not to love?'
The Spirit Room, Michelle Branch
'I think Michelle is such a great writer and this album captured such an amazing moment in time for her.. I loved the vulnerability of this album and how much she let everyone in. After you listened to this album, you felt like you knew her. Now that's an accomplishment.'

LeAnn Rimes - Damn
This song shows how amaing LeAnn's voice is. I've looked up to her since I was six and just love this song!
Tim McGraw - Can't Tell Me Nothin'
This is the song that spurred my first single, 'Tim McGraw.' It's about being stubborn. Ha-ha. I can relate.
Fefe Dobson - Revolution Song
I had this song on repeat when I lived in a small town in Pennsylvania and had trouble fitting in at school. The lyrics really helped me keep the faith.
Gary Nichols - Unbroken Ground
I love this song. When I was doing a radio show with Gary the other day, I told him that and he had me come onstage and sing it with him!
Better Than Ezra - Our Last Night
This song really takes me back, and the melody is amazing.
Faith Hill - Breathe
Faith Hill is the most beautiful woman in the world.
The Veronicas - 4ever
I really wish I was as cool as these girls. They're just awesome and the video is even better!
Eminem - Lose Yourself
This is probably the song I can relate to the most right now. It's all or nothing.
The Wallflowers - Closer To You
It's strange but I think about my goals and dreams when I hear this song. It's where I want to be and every day you get closer.
Michelle Branch - Goodbye To You
Rain + driving home + memories = you will cry.
Concrete Blonde - Joey
This is a song that makes up for any bad music the '80s may have produced.
Tim McGraw - You Get Used to Somebody
This song can make me SO sad! It makes a great point because sometimes you get too comfortable with someone and feel like you don't need them. But regret normally soon follows.
Faith Hill - This Kiss
The last time I heard this song, the fountains at the Bellagio in Las Vegas were dancing to it. It was a chill-worthy moment.

I'm a huge Jack Johnson fan. My ringtone is "Taylor" by Jack Johnson. I just ignore the fact that the song is about a – it's about a prostitute or is it a stripper? But I will take ownership because it has my name in it. And you know what, also – I think, and this is a really poppy choice, but I think it's really cool that Jesse McCartney is R&B now. I think it's a really cool direction for him.**I just recently listened to the whole record, and I was like, "You know what? I didn’t really understand it at first, but now I get it." I love the new single, and I think that's a really good place for him to be. I think it's really good for his voice. He did a T-Pain cover recently and killed it live, so I have a newfound respect for him and his vocal abilities, and the way his career has gone. Also, I'm really into Katy Perry. The whole record is great. There's a song called "Thinking of You" that I'm really, really obsessed with. I'm also obsessed with Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U." I have that song on repeat right now. And I love it.

For mending a bruised heart
"I've created a lot of breakup playlists for friends. One of my standbys is 'You Wanted It,' by MoZella. I first heard it in an airport bathroom when I was going through a situation with a guy—I'd thought he was in, but he was just chasing me for the sake of the chase. This song sounds like she can empathize."
For making yourself at home
"I'm a big fan of 'A Little Opera Goes a Long Way,' by Sky Sailing: [sings] Pretend you're not alone / Like you are center stage on Broadway / 'Cause when you are on your own / A little opera goes a long way. That was my theme song for the first few days of living solo."
For feeling creative
"My 18-year-old brother turned me on to the Icelandic band Sigur Rós—they make me happy and take me away to dreamland. I love trying to memorize the words, even though they're singing in their own language. Sometimes I'll make up some lyrics. It gets pretty interesting."
For pondering a certain four-letter word
"I have a playlist called Happily Ever that's 30 songs deep, all about love: 'Until You,' by Dave Barnes, 'Rain,' by Patty Griffin, 'Easy Silence,' by the Dixie Chicks. When I listen to 'Naked as We Came,' by Iron and Wine, I hang on every word and dissect every metaphor; I'm completely absorbed."

wownow sis. She didn't say she bought the house. And why bother with tabloids? Take them as jokes. Chill.
EDIT: Are y'all gonna troll radio stations' facebook page again? I want to request that pop song about wanting to make love with strippers by Luke Bryan.

Wait what song is this? "Country girl (shake it for me)?

#1 on hot 100 should tell you to never buy the song look at all the garbage that reaches #1. Some exceptions do exist but just remember this next time so you don't waste money
