What Born This Way the album was about, was about me doing something really different for myself, a real artistic adventure, a real test to my fan base, and all of those of you who are here tonight you have been with me through thick and thin and you have prepared me for my next album ARTPOP so much.
So i thank you to for inspiring me to push myself to make an even greater record the next time around.

I can proudly say that i survived the BTW era

I barely survived the era, I was almost done in between "The Edge of Glory" video and "You and I" announced as a single. I just couldn't take all the good songs on the album being ignored and that messy video. I'm so ready for ARTPOP though.

Her fan base hasn't really fluctuated that much. Her fans have always been loyal towards her.

And I just hate when fans act like an artist has nothing else to do but create hits for their fans. BTW was her self indulgent album where she experimented and did things that her fanbase wouldn't normally like. In essence she was inspired by Bowie and alienated her fanbase.
