Hotel Transylvania may have a bit of longevity which will help it even if it doesn't do so well the first weekend. It's a few weekends away from Halloween so that will help.
The commercial has started playing on tv so that's good they are also planning on making a video game out of it.And ya just by looking at the tag for it on tumblr a lot of older people are looking forward to it can't wait for promo.

Yes. You know she's really goin' in for this album. She gave us the masterpiece MON without even trying, imagine if she actually tried.
Hopefully. She needs to work with Sandy Vee again, I like his work. There's something about his upbeat tracks that always seem so aggressive without actually being aggressive.

In related news(sorta), Paranorman made only 14 mill this box office and even though it may be a small distributing company, I was expecting it to be more. It looked really good and looked like it could appeal to both adults and kids. Maybe it appeared too scary~ for kids and there was that controversy about the film (something about the sexuality of one of the characters or something). That could have affected it idk Based on hype, it could pull up next weekend.
Based on that, maybe a 40-50 mill box office weekend might be a stretch for HT. I'm thinking 20-30 mill now. Just have to hope for good reviews at the film festivals and crazy promo.
Everybody is going to hate me for this but even though MON is an amazing song and one of Selena's best, I'm not that into it... I think Outlaw is my favorite from WTSGD.

I was expecting more but 20-30 mill seems accurate now.
And MON is great(one of her best songs) but she can definitely deliver something way better. She's being more tactical about her music now(looking for good/new producers, writing her songs(or get a better writing team)) so I'm expecting that. Her next album better be full of 'MON' + more.

I'm 14 going on 15 in 5 days!!! and I'm from Orange County, CA I completely agree with what said by the way. She is definitely bringing it for the next album, and I can't wait to hear more about it.
MON is amazing but I'm very confident that it won't forever remain the highlight of her musical career.
