I had such high hopes for Jessie J after Do It Like A Dude.
It was rough, unapologetic, dark and full of emotion.
But then she started doing dem Price Tags and Dominoes
She only released Price Tag and Domino to get a radio support, and a large stanbase. With her next album she'll go back to DILAD style, now she has a large fanbase it will be a smash.

She's a crossover artist making mainstream music. Of course she's thirsty for hits. That's not her main objective though. The Dutchess and B'day were released like two weeks within each other, and from a stan I know that B'day was recorded in April of 2006. Her intentions of working with Toby Gad was to bring out a new sound from her previous work. Did he provide that? Yes. Were there any other songs that sounded like Boy that were ruling the airwaves? Not really, no.
