I'm not really keen on watching horrors released within 5 years. They have nothing really good to offer, except for Paranormal Activity.

Anyway, I just watched Irreversible, and OMG!

Vincent Cassel is hot though!

C'mon now sis! Really? You should watch it! Everyone I know has that has the most disturbing film they have seen! It's part of the New French Extremity subgenre and it's really disturbing and violent. Go watch it!

Lemme youtube the trailer... and Frozen may seem like a really boring idea for a film but it really works... it's more of a thriller than a horror but it's somewhere in my top 20 horrors... maybe even top 10

I'm watching V/H/S right now so lemme make a commetary on each of the tapes...

Before the first tape starts there is like 10-20 minutes of ****... it happens with most films...

Great first tape I'm guessing that the woman who kills the three guys is supposed to be a succubus or something...?? seen as she like grows wings by the end of the tape... either way great first tape.

Starts off kinda boring... then we see someone who isn't either of the couple filming them whilst they are asleep. Then the following night the guy gets stabbed by what I'm guessing in another woman..?? Or a guy with long hair... either way the shock was that the guy (who died's) gf was in on the whole thing

when the 2nd tape ends the guy who was supposedly dead in the house has now dissapeared from the chair... it's getting interesting

The 3rd tape reminds me of the film Reeker cause the creature or whatever it is moves in a similar way...

And now the old man is back in his chair

Worst one so far now... it starts off kinda like a Paranormal Activity type film but then it just gets stupid... Are those supposed to be ghosts or aliens..??

and the dead guy seems to have dissapeared from his chair again

Overall it goes 1 >> 2 >>> 5 >>>>>> 3 >>>>> 4

Overall the film gets a 6/10

Jay, did you watch Stag Night (2008)? It's a good slasher. I recommend it. I watched it tonight for the second time. Last time I watched Valentine (2001). I'm just making sure I really like all these slasher films since I am stanning for them.

Erm...I just watched the trailer and it doesn't ring any bells... it looks quite good though. I have seen another horror film called stag night though... it was one of those horror channel exclusives and it was terrible

Yes it is good... although the first 40 minutes are trash tbh... The first time I watched it I switched it off about 30 minutes in cause it was so *****ing boring... but when it was on TV the 2nd time I decided to give it another go and I'm glad I did cause it's a really good film

I saw Catacombs a couple of years ago. It was okay. The ending was very surprising.

I don't actually know tbh I'm guessing because they went into the house to steal a tape (but they didn't know what tape it was so they had to watch them to find the right one) I guess thats how the tapes come into the movie

It's amazing. I don't agree with the sentiment that the beginning is boring/trash. It helps build the move along great.

Eden Lake was disappointing
The first 35 minutes really were boring as hell and then it never got intense
I usually love horror movies in forests or the outback because of the atmosphere but the movie hasn't got any
The end was nice though so I guess 4/10 at the end
