Managed to get about 0.2 higher update than P!nk and stay ahead of her...


Honestly, GYHAB hasn't has a lot of luck at times when increasing on radio (about to enter top 20 and like 3 songs pass her, etc.)
But now GYHAB is insanely lucky. Almost everything in the top 10 is decreasing with rapid speed, giving room for GYHAB to increase way faster and therefore also pass them faster.
We should be happy for the timing of GYHAB entering the top 10 now honestly

This week Ellie Goulding's breakthrough US hit "Lights" climbs to #1 at mainstream pop radio in the US. It has been a long 23 week rise to the top on the chart. That matches Pink and her hit "U + Ur Hand" for the longest climb to the top by a woman. It puts them into a tie for the second longest overall just behind Cee Lo Green's "F**k You" at 25 weeks.

As of tomorrow, GYHAB will have spent 22 weeks on the pop chart. (eventually also more but i'm confused )


I hope she does go #1 so she can snatch that record

This is why i'm confused..
I counted back the weeks and became 23 or 24 weeks, but i guess she wasn't charting on BDS back then yet.

This is what Billboard wrote :

"Give Your Heart a Break" -- the second charting single from her 2011 album, "Unbroken" -- became her first top 10 on the Pop Songs airplay chart last week, rising 12-9 in its 19th frame.
This week, the track holds its position. And over on the all-format Radio Songs list, it's her first single to chart, jumping three spots from 15-12 since last week.

They wrote the article on August 3rd so "This Week" must mean that the week is already completed right? And the week ends on Sundays which would be the 29th of July...
IF i understand this right, she completed 20 weeks on the chart after the 29th? As of tomorrow that'd be 3 weeks ago...

Yeah but what confuses me is that when they say "This week" they actually mean the 29th of july as the radio tracking for pop ends then. It was published on a Friday and they can't know where it's going in that week yet, right?

Unless i'm completely misunderstanding them, but if i understand this right they mean that she stayed at #9 two weeks, and the first week of these actually ended on the 22nd, and they say this was her 19th frame?

I'm probably just stupid, but idk...

I don't know. All I know is that they say "last week", so it must have been the week ending at the 29th of July. Else they just said it wrong
