I'll be more detailed tomorrow morning, but it will be based partially on the current music market and partially on how the artist is doing in each of those categories right now. For example, a flop tour for Madonna would net about $200 million, and for tours all numbers will be devided by 10 million. So that flop tour would get 20 points for Madonna's label, but a super successful tour of $500 million would give 50 points. I'll be using a ranged random number generator to totally randomize results, and then add payola on afterward.

The changes will take place at 9:00 AM tomorrow morning, US Central time. I'm going to bed because I'm sleepy, but I'll see you all then!

Payola: you pay 50 points. There's a chance that you get 100 extra points from the single/album/tour and a chance you lose 100 points on it.

I'd prefer you didn't just to encourage creativity, but if you do want to release real-life songs or albums, the success will still be randomized. I won't let someone release Thriller just to trump everyone.
