Bie, who cares what people think. Think about it like this: did Britney care what people thought about her? Make whatever threads you'd like, the people who are annoyed from them don't need to enter them. There are countless of other threads so...
Do you guys think Britney shouldn't tour next era? Because I don't. Artists don't have to tour for EVERY album. It's cool for us fans, but career-wise, it is so unnecessary. When you tour often, it's less of a reason for people to see you, you know? We aren't gonna keep paying hundreds every release. Build some anticipation!!!
She needs an era of general public promo!! It's always a couple singles, then disappear on tour - that's why her later singles always drop lower and lower before eventually a flop like Criminal or Radar.
Next era they should focus on awards shows, tv interviews, great music videos, festivals, etc and not a tour. Or at least tour AFTER the 4th/5th single has been properly promoted.

IMO she shouldn't tour with her 8th album .... she should wait and tour until her 9th album.
but is very unlikely this happens ..... because nowadays musicians earn their money and support their families from touring , because records sales are not that huge anymore and from singles of $0,99 they don't live.
so sadly ... she would probably tour for her next album

I completely agree. The next era should be focused on properly promoting the work.

Agreed! There were speculation at the start of Femme Fatale that Larry stated there wouldn't be a tour. I wish there wasn't a tour for FF and that she waited till the 8th album.

And when he said that, fans threw a fit, calling her lazy, saying she doesn't care about her fans, blowing up Adam's twitter etc etc.
Britney fans don't know what they want until after they get it. They live in a perpetual state of retrospect.
