And now lets move on to more important stuff. About who is this written about. I was sure it was Jake but the lyrics to not add up. I don`t think he ever wanted to get back together? Or did he?

right? jake doesnt seem like someone who'd call her up asking her to get back together!
but this song is most probably about him only, i hope its not about one of her exes before the speak now era!
@n8van2: Yes and there is proof. RT @CarrieTeddies First "Truck Yeah," now this. Is @ScottBorchetta TRYING to destroy music? @ScottBorchetta: @n8van2 @CarrieTeddies @ScottBorchetta THANKS! Go away and be miserable somewhere else.
What I'm thinking is that Taylor has the heart of a songwriter, she will dabble in different genres but she will keep her songs guitar and occasionally piano driven with plenty of soul and heart and that is why I'm a fan.
I don't love country music, I love relate-able honest music and that is what Taylor unwaveringly gives me. I see her slowly headed down the Carly Simon/Joni Mitchell path musically.
Off topic but the Stephen in Hey Stephen is #41 on iTunes-- Angel Eyes by Love and Theft. Gotta thank him one day for being the subject of one of her most perfect songs
