Hah, I would not be ok with waiting until January. She could have gotten so much success if she released her single in June and album in August. This Summer was horrible for music and she would have owned. But whatever, I still think she'll have no trouble coming back. But she will have to compete with Rihanna and Gaga's first singles which are likely to be massive with longevity.
She's basically in a really bad position already. We all know how busy the release schedule becomes at the end of the year. All of the labels rush multiple recording projects to cram in those holiday sales. Ke$ha hasn't been around for over a year, so she needs a time where she can expose herself again without being overshadowed by anyone else. RCA should have learnt from Cannibal. Maybe they will wait until January, 3 years after Animal.
