| AVERAGE SCORE: 9.13/10 | - Good riddance. It’s a great song though, from the effective retro-sounding disco-ish dance beat to her teasing vocals backed by moaning and heavy breathing. The opening alone bumps the song's rating up by a few stars. 10/10

| AVERAGE SCORE: 9.24/10 | - Arguably, her best single. It’s completely different to "Toxic,” yet somehow just as brilliant. She wrote, composed, and produced the song herself. It’s a simple, yet effectively fragile, hauntingly beautiful ballad that doesn't require any screaming during the final chorus a la Christina, yet still manages to showcase her vocals, which build from soft to strong. It’s her response to “Cry Me A River” (I may have made it rain/Please forgive me/My weakness caused you pain/And this song is my sorry) and she confesses to infidelity, with the ‘weakness’ being men (it’s about quarter as good as “Cry Me A River.”) She’s unable to move on and pretends that she’s still with him. She named it the most personal song of her career and it truly is. It’s the first and only time she sounded attached to a song on an emotional level. It displays her at her weakest and most vulnerable state. You can feel the pain in her voice. She sounds as if she’s communicating directly to the listener (how Justin of her.) It shows a glimmer of the talent that hides behind the robotic vocals on her recent albums, on which she never quite invests anything with emotion, just drops in the vocals at her convenience, and usually slips into the background, disappearing in the production. What takes the song to a completely new level is the prophetic music video, which features Britney drowning in fame. 10/10
