For everyone who's still on the fence about TSP being the enxt signle just think about this:
1) It sounds completely different from NCOE in every respect
2) It's completely different from anything else on the radio at present (= Adam the Innovator
)
3) It's reminiscent of Queen, so RCA (mindful of the new-found love for Adam from many Queen fans) will be hoping it appeals to that band's fan base as well
4) It's a big ass foot-stomper, so RCA will be thinking of all those stadiums it could be played at---and ads it could be featured on
5) Once heard, it's instantly recognizable
6) It has the potential for a great, "brand-establishing" music video that emphasizes Adam's rebel/outsider status
7) Trespassing represents butch Adam (unlike the more pop candy Adam of Cuckoo), so RCA will be counting on it winning over more straight males
And probably not on RCA's list of criteria, but a bonus point in its favor: unlike Cuckoo, I could imagine Trespassing fitting in on a future Queenbert concert program
