They're okay, but they're probably fake. It's hard to judge a song based solely on lyrics. Bad Romance is one of my favorite songs ever and that ra ra ah ah ah chant is nonsensical. Frozen is one of my favorites too and it has some cringe-worthy lyrics (love is a bird, she needs to fly
). I could go on and on. Pop in general tends to have repeated lines and syllables and some lyrics that aren't all that impressive on paper, but when fitted to a tune sound better than what we'd expect from pirate-inspired lyrics.

they are allowed to have opinions, but gaga fans of course had to bring up Madonna lyrics because God forbid someone abhor something gaga does
