It peaked at 62 on the Hot 100. Was it not pushed? Not enough promo? Were the lyrics too generic and gross?
I just wonder because the chorus is huge and infectious and it kind of sounds like it should have smashed, even if the lyrics are stupid.

It had no promotion in America, it was only sent to a few radio stations, and was only successful overseas.
It fared well on iTunes though, but since radio wasn't playing it, it fell off.
Added to the fact that when it was released, it was cluttered with other big releases and was competing with HUGE names at the time, if that helps.
