For every times that I cried
Over some stupid thing you did to hurt me
Musically, the Stronger era has been one of the weaker ones. Image wise, she's been amazing.

Its glass ceiling.. Otherwise Im singing the lyrics wrong
and this era is definitely "stronger" ( ) than that mess of an era called aiew
Edit: next era is going to be different & interesting l like to believe. she's never been in love & has so much material to write about. exciting

OK y'all, have you heard Mariah Carey's Triumphant remix, the Pulse Club one?
HOOOLLLLLLLY HELL, this is what I need Kelly to do. Something with a REAL dance beat and killer vocals. A song that will do well commercially but is lyrically substantial.

This cowboys thing will be good promo for Kelly. Even if DS underperforms, I hope RCA will properly release a 4th single. We still have the rest of the tour to look forward to. This era has had it's peak, but I'm hoping for some really good longevity. It is far from over.

I don't think RCA would end the era this early. Especially with the album nearly being platinum.

Its a little premature. she hasn't even started a world tour & that could take awhile. A fourth/final single is definitely in the cards. Tbh, duets probably stalled this era a little. Imagine what what she would've been doing instead.
there's a difference between wanting an era to be over & it actually being over. even when it is over, it'll be a looong time before another album

Some good news about DS.. Z100 has started to bump it's plays again. Over the last 7 days they've played it 37 times compared to only 16 the week before. So that's 21 more spins, which is great. It's jumped from #29 to #16 on their playlist. I think they'll keep bumping it and hopefully in a few weeks put it in power rotation. That would really help and other stations would be likely to follow. It really could be PERFECT timing for the VMA's I'm praying for a friggen miracle that she performs there (and stfu with the paint drying comments before you even start) because if all that falls into place, I could see DS vaulting into at least Top 20 on the Hot 100.

I used to be able to vote multiple times a day every day via text, but it stopped working for me. Anyone every figure out if they changed how to text a vote etc?

The era isn't over. I refuse to believe it is. Even though Dark Side was clearly the wrong single choice, and I said it from day one, I still believe the song will be a slow burner and be a hit in a few months. It has to.

Dark Side remains the correct single choice regardless of it's performance. Y'all think just because it's not Top 10 or doing amazingly well that it's the "wrong" single choice.
It was one of the more critically acclaimed songs on the CD and the one that connected with the public the most (after WDKY and Alone) on iTunes when the album was released.
The only reason it's not doing as well as it could is because the adds date was a massive flop that didn't take proper advantage of the promo, and Stronger's MASSIVE AI and refusal to die down prohibited it from growing faster. If she had good promo right now, I guarantee it would soar into the Top 20 or Top 10, and then y'all haters would be seated in your several seats where you belong.

RCA is going to wait until dark side peaks at hac. This era is far from over. Kelly said from the start that she is aiming for longevity. I'm not expecting a new single before October.

Found this on KCE. Really enjoyed it. More praise for the "best winner" of Idol.

Clarkson: All the numbers add up
Ten years after winning 'American Idol,' singer remains proof TV talent competitions can work
It was 10 years ago this summer that viewers were introduced to a small-town Texas waitress with big dreams and an even bigger voice on the first season of "American Idol."
Since then, Kelly Clarkson has gone on to enjoy a stellar pop career, and she legitimized — for better or for worse — the current wave of reality talent competitions.
Had her runner-up, Justin Guarini, won that first season, we might not have "Idol" or "The Voice" or "The X Factor" on the airwaves today.
But Clarkson was the perfect "American Idol," and she remains the best winner the show has ever had. She has a homespun, every-girl quality about her, as well as a powerful, distinctive voice that sets her apart from the run-of-the-mill Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera clones that clutter talent competitions.
Clarkson, who plays DTE Energy Music Theatre Friday with guests the Fray, is an individual, and an undiscovered talent like hers is the reason shows like "American Idol" can work.
Here's a look back at her last decade, by the numbers.
23 million Viewers who watched the Season 1 "American Idol" finale in September 2002, when Clarkson beat Justin Guarini for the "Idol" title
4.5 million Viewers who watched the Season 1 "Duets" finale in July 2012, on which Clarkson was a judge
6 & 2 Number of Grammy nominations and wins (she won for Best Pop Female Vocal Performance for "Since U Been Gone" and Best Pop Vocal Album for "Breakaway")
5 Studio albums released to date
11.7 million Total number of albums Clarkson has sold
13.3 million Total number of albums Carrie Underwood has sold, making her the top-selling "Idol"
6.2 million Copies sold of Clarkson's best-selling album, "Breakaway"
236,000 Copies Clarkson's debut single, "A Moment Like This," sold its first week in stores
$4.9 million Lifetime gross of "From Justin to Kelly," the musical that starred Clarkson and Guarini that opened in June 2003
3 Times she has appeared as musical guest on "Saturday Night Live"
39 Cities visited on her 2008 tour with Reba McEntire
0 Number of those cities in Metro Detroit
3 No. 1 singles Clarkson has earned ("A Moment Like This," "My Life Would Suck Without You," "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)"
7 Number of weeks those singles have spent at No. 1 (two weeks for "A Moment Like This" and "My Life Would Suck Without You," three non-consecutive weeks for "Stronger")
2 No. 1 albums Clarkson has earned ("Thankful" and "All I Ever Wanted")
