OK Kats. So since WA has peaked (lets face it, I doubt the discount will matter much, streaming is the biggest problem) and our queen is busy relaxing and preparing her next album...what collabo's do we want to keep her name out there before the next album drops?
Speaking of a new album...is it true she can't work with Dr. Luke anymore? How about Max Martin?
Dr. Luke got his own division under Sony Music or something like that, and he can only work with artists signed to Sony, so I don't think Katy can work with him anymore. Max Martin is still available though, and I REALLYY hope she works with M83.
I wanted the #1 but her team deserves it...they have marketed this entire era perfectly and then they wait to discount the song until its too late. So had they not discounted at least it wouldn't look cheap. They did and so not only is it cheap it didn't achieve the #1. Egg on their faces and shame on them.
We can't assume she will have an 8th #1 in the future.
