Yes, I meant Talia
I did a double check - from 9gag to wiki, and this is what I got
Quote:
Talia al Ghul (Arabic: تالياء الغول) is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe, the now-estranged daughter of the supervillain Ra's al Ghul, a love interest of Batman, and the mother of his son Damian Wayne, the fifth Robin.

The wait was hard and painful, but I finally got to see the movie today.
So many feelings and thoughts going through my mind right now, I'm still trying to process them. The movie had flaws, absolutely. It felt 'clunky' at times, the editing really wasn't the best imo, and it felt rushed on certain points. Like I said, still trying to process all of this.
But damn, if this wasn't fun to watch. You really get invested in this story, in these characters. Christian was once again brilliant as Bruce Wayne, Tom created a great villain (his eyes ), and Anne... she simply delivered, on every single aspect. I could only wish she had a bigger screen-time. Everyone was really great.
The action sequences were good, the movie certainly had an epic feel. The score could have been better used, but I still liked it.
Like I said, this movie isn't perfect. I could carry on with more nitpicks (like how Bane's voice in the opening sequence was terrible), but those are just that, nitpicks, small problems that didn't really take anything way from the experience. The movie is almost three hours long, but time just flew by while I was watching it. And that's the biggest compliment I could give.
Oh, and I loved the ending.
I seriously need to watch this again, asap.

Yess!!! I loved the characters Batman, John Blake, Selina Kyle, Lucius, Commissioner Gordon and even Foley I'm attached and connected with them. If they took a stand, I will support them.
Bane
and Talia
are really great nemesis!
Jaw dropping cinematography. Awesome bat/cat-technologies. Thrilling fight scenes. Great Twists. Brilliant Direction on Nolan's part. etc. etc. etc.
The 3 hours is the most entertaining 3 hours of my life
I need to watch it again in the nearest time possible before TDKR gets replaced by newer movies

I agree, all the characters were spectacular. And yeah, the action, the cinematography, the direction, all good.
I can't wait to watch it again.

Closing in on that billion.
I'm probably gonna see this movie again this weekend.
Oh, I loved how Anne Hathaway played Catwoman. I've always wanted to see Catwoman as a deceiver who is very fluid in her actions. Anne nailed it. She's always been one of my favorite actresses, but seeing her as Catwoman was a completely new experience. She was incredible.

The Dark Knight Rises Review[With minor Spoilers]
Quote:
I was dreading to actually think about doing this review because my reaction has been mixed if anything about this movie.
Okay I’ll start with the hype I went in with. So I love Batman Begins and of course TDK even though I found the latter a bit blown out of proportion. I have since then enjoyed Nolan’s work and Memento remains one of his finer works among a pretty solid mix of movies that he has directed. I was skeptical to say the least with him bringing in so many faces from Inception and of course Anne’s casting as Cat Woman. While I really love Anne as an actress,I think she is best suited for either melodramatic movies or you know rom-com. Okay so that was what I had in my mind before the movie. The trailer and promo campaign for TDKR was spectacular and really wasn’t too in your face to start thinking,”Oh my God,the hypeee.”
The movie started out great. I thoroughly enjoyed Anne’s brilliant performance and was convinced that she is a very fine choice indeed. Acting wise, there were the solid ones along with the average ones like Gordon’s. Gordon wasn’t really working well with me. I didn’t really like his way of doing things but he wasn’t all that bad. Bale was really great once again and though he does in fact make me gag when I recall those leaked tapes that was recorded during Terminator Salvation,he does have potential to be really big than he is now.
Okay let’s get into the worst parts. I did not like Bane/Hardy. Maybe it’s his voice but Nolan should have toned down the voice and made it a little less cheesy because some of the lines he delivered got me goosebumps in the wrong way. Hardy and Bale’s fight scenes were amazing and gory so that’s a major plus. There were some poor shots such as the death of Peter Foley but hey Nolan can’t be perfect. No one can.
Without getting into too much details,I’d like to say that as a whole, the movie was amazing. It certainly will be remembered for genuinely good reasons. Nolan yet again has proven that he does in fact make movies that are not only really great in terms of content but also that he can please just about everyone.
A or 8.8/10

I need to watch this on our local mall which only had 3 cinemas. Bourne Legacy will be premiering this week and Brave was just added last week. There's a local movie. I hope the local movie gets kicked while TDKR stays so I can see it next pay day

Apart from his awful voice in the opening sequence, I really enjoyed Bane, specially as the story developed. I also liked the fact that he did have a sense of humor, which surprisingly worked well imo.
Glad you also liked the movie.

If I go to see DKR without having watched the other two, will I be lost?

Kind of. You're still gonna enjoy it though, but I suggest you to watch at least one of the other two before watching TDKR.

There's many things to love about the movie, but she was definitely one of the main highlights.
