If you want to stay out of it, why mention it in the first place ? You are obviously looking for something, like you always are. How is that thread in any way trashing Kelly ? It's about the fact if Dark Side still has a chance to become a hit, it's a legit discussion so stop reaching.
In this case scenario RCA should wait for a maximum of two/three weeks, if the song still produces average updates, drop the single and rush release I Forgive You, which is the only thing (it seems) to still help the album. The performance of Dark Side is hurting the album sales and may reduce the chance of IFY becoming a hit. Singles performing well after a underperforming one (from the same era) is very unlikely these days.
I'll get onto that later tonight.
