y'all are morons if you genuinely believe he just went off and did his own thing without consulting aaliyahs estate before doing this. he may not have involved missy or timbo as much as perhaps they should've been (if at all), but he definitely approached aaliyahs estate before even beginning work on all this stuff lmao
drake totally ruins the song with his verse.
the cursing, the dissing, and his aggressive delivery don't match the song or aaliyah at all. she was so smooth in her vocal delivery in her day, and drake's rapping is the opposite. his singing would've matched much better, similar to Find Your Love.
i was too young to be into aaliyah back in the day, but i like some of her hits and this song is very nice. it could definitely be a hit for her today.
I like the song, i definitely wish 40 would've co-produced this with Tim because those drums bother me and I wish it would've been missy rapping instead of Drake, didn't like the quality of Drake's rap next to the beautiful Aaliyahs verses.

There is a solo version that someone just posted.
I don't mind Drake, but I agree with you, his verse should have been more low key.
Well, I mean ... why would her family exploit their daughter like that? I'm just curious.
Do you know how long aaliyah fans have been waiting for unreleased stuff like this? I don't know why it took Drake but I'm glad we get new Aaliyah music.
Aaliyah has a song with DMX as well, so...
I don't see the problem in Drake stanning for the queen when people do **** qwith Pac's songs ALL the time. Y'all need to sit.
And I HAVEEEE to listen to this song!!!!!! NAWTTTT QUEEEN LIII coming to SNATCH tghe gerls ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! YAAAAAAS!!!
Now who finna get scalped? :tomcat:
I have no problem with drake making music for Aaliyah, but on none of her albums does she have a song with the word n*gga, let alone repeated multiple times. Its trashy and that's not what Aaliyah is. And don't get me started on the diss. This song is ****ing meant to be a beautiful moment, could drake not have put that dIss in another song? It's an insult to Aaliyah to associate
her name with a pathetic feud

I can commend him for keeping her legacy alive, but his obsession with her is still creepy. Is she were alive today, he would be stalking her ass. What's next, is he going to perform with an Aaliyah hologram on stage with this song? You damn well he is probably thinking about that right now.
