If you only knew how often I already listend to Speak Now. But well you're stupid and dont think about every possible situation. And cause I listend to it that often I can clearly say: nearly every Taylor Swift song sounds the same and she'll probably never change her sound and go the safe way her whole life. Also its not like most songs left from her are better than Fly or I'm The Best and you cant deny the fact that Nicki is hated on on ATRL much and that this is the reason why her songs chat that low in this rate.

You're talking as if the things you said were facts.  Sis, if you really listened to the album you wouldn't be saying that. Clearly you were listening half asleep or you just don't understand the meaning of "sounding the same". Didn't you see the comments about them being surprised at finding Speak Now amazing even if they don't like Taylor that much? If you can't handle this rate just

Belive me. I did listen to it clearly. I also like it.
The same thing was said about Animal, Body Talk and Pink Friday which does not proof anything.
I do understand the meaning of "sounding the same" also other people in this thread said the same about Speak Now before.
By the way a Swiftie defending Speak Now doesnt proof anything really.

Can you read? I didnt bash the rate, supaspaz did great work! I did bash the people who are stanning in here (like you). I also dont want Nicki to be the big winner. I just want this rate to be fair and not something like a "who do you stan for?" rate.

Just to clear some things up: I asked people to be fair with their scores in this rate, and for the most part, they were. I had to throw out one egregious vote, but otherwise, people at least seemed to have given every album a chance.
That said: Yes, there were ultimately more Nicki haters participating. And it appears there were more Taylor stans. I can't help who voted. But each lady had her supporters and detractors, and was given an equal shot. Look at the average scores, which are mostly above 6, even down this low on the list. That means more people liked the songs overall than disliked them.
I can understand being disappointed with the results. I personally think this Nicki massacre was way off base as well. (Whether or not her album was the worst, it is definitely not THAT much worse than the others). But there is still plenty more countdown to be revealed. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised by the final rankings.

No way am i a Nicki hater. I came in expecting to hear a fantastic album but ended up being disappointed. Listening to hip-hop/rap music (even when it is very pop oriented) i have come to expect clever metaphors and good lyrics. Nicki never really delivered here. So many of her attempts ended up being shallow to totally cringe-worthy. I am not an expert of great production. It probably had an amazing one but it just did not sound good to my ears personally.
Another thing that may have factored in is that i listened to the "Pink Friday" last and was already kinda tired. I`ll try to listen to it again fresh and see if it makes a difference.

More than one person- quite a few now actually- have said a lot of the Taylor songs can tend to sound the same. A lot do to me, anyway. They're ballads that run at the same tempo. Because I don't really listen to Taylor outside of having to rate her, I don't invest myself in the subject matter; I listen to the song face value (as you would to the Nicki album or whoever else). So all myself and others probably hear is just a lot of songs that seem to run really similarly to one another. I got bored of hearing that familiarity after a few songs, and the marks reflect that. Where there was a notable difference (Better than Revenge a great example), I gave like 8s and 9s...

By the way, I should have put "haters" and "stans" in quotation marks. As always, everyone is entitled to their own opinions about this music. I was just observing that Nicki seemed to have more uniformly low scores and Taylor more uniformly high scores than anyone else among these ballots.
