Exactly, they are great songs but not for singles.
Fix a Heart is my favorite song of her (although GYHAB is getting closer to it every day  ) but I'd hate it to be a single. It'd flop

It's the same with MLILAS. Many people wouldn't nominate it for best song of the album, I do. Why? Because it's just absolutely different from anything she's ever made, it has that retro R&B style to it, great lyrics, fantastic voice control and the that's the kind of R&B I love. She could really make a name for herself in that genre singing those kind of songs, but then she goes and ruins it in collabs like ANL, YMOS, and WTB...smh.
I hope her next album marks her return to pop/rock or, if she is indeed making a country album, then I'm curious to see what comes out of that - especially because country is overall my favorite genre after pop.

I agree, MLILAS is one of my favorite songs. It's amazing. Sadly not many people hear these songs of her...

FAH is what clicked immediately for most of us. & GYHAB was actually my 'most played' song from Unbroken but i'm rather tired of it now probably cos of the single treatment, it's still great live or acoustic-piano.
I'm really digging Yes I Am at the moment & Lightweight.

They don't, because it's nearly the last song on the album and after listening to the first 3 tracks, many people are put off. I know I was, but since it's Demi, I just started from the 5th track after two or three listens, and the album immediately got better. The collabs really do ruin that album (except for Together, that's not bad), they sound like something out of Rock Mafia's mixtape.

I think FAH is EXTREMELY overrated. Yeah, it's a good song, but it doesn't touch Lightweight, MLILAS or FTLOAD, for me.

She's still selling the same amount, so it's okay, i just hope she can start climbing slowly!

I like it, the thing is too many people like it too much, so it makes it overrated - it's not really the best song on the album.

Her longevity on HAC is amazing.
She's 168 days on the chart now 
151 days on pop, she's eligible to go recurrent next week lol

aah that's why all i said was that it "immediately clicked" ..it's almost the same as Catch Me if you will ... Bottom line is that all the ballads (atleast for me) from Unbroken are nothing short of amazing.

The difference between FAH and CM is that Demi wrote CM, so there's due merit there, even if the song is not the best on HWGA, for me.

That's what I mean, you think people like it too much cause you don't like it as much as those people. But who are you to tell others they like it too much? It's their opinion.
Fix a Heart is for example genuinly my favorite song of her, and I am not overrating the song 
Overrated used to mean that people jumped on the bandwagon to like it. So they don't really like it THAT much but because it's popular they jump on the bandwagon. Nowadays people use the word to say they don't like it as much as everyone else does. That's what I meant

Well, yeah, but it goes both ways. Overrated means 'to rate too highly' - many people bandwagon'ed Adele last year and she's not overrated, for example.

But bandwagoning cause someone actually is a good singer is indeed not overrating. I said bandwagoning with the sole reason that it's popular makes someone overrated.

I agree that that's the appeal of Catch Me. I always figured she co-wrote FAH, guess she didn't but she surely puts in the right emotion behind it. 'Swhy i connect with the song -shrug-

Don't Forget, Catch Me & Fix A Heart are kinda similar. Expect another similar ballad in the next album
