I agree with the first two points. The 3rd is a little iffy. A good number of people in the GP probably are unaware how the Hot 100 works, so I'm almost certain that doesn't go through their minds when contemplating to buy something from iTunes.

Well everything that could've helped this has come and gone. I'm sad to say the No. 1 is getting further away. We can only hope "Wide Awake" can last as long as say "Payphone" and slip in at the chance.

I disagree.

Same basic principal. They all already have tons of success, they discount their products to put at an advantage. Then they run all the local businesses and restuarants to the ground. (Moreso with Walmart)

I know I'm reaching, but it was intentional just to make a point that all businesses use "tactics" when they don't "need" to. Have you ever considered that It's not her that cares too much about charts, but this whole forum?

No.

Singles may not get discounted often, but albums do. People see albums get discounted and don't consider it much different when a song gets discounted.
