"Call Me Maybe" is overshadowing everything that "Good Time" could be, tbh. CMM is still getting a lot of attention right now, and I feel that GT is only doing well because it's riding off the success of CMM. It will be one of those hits that most people won't remember or think was a hit because the hit before it was so huge at the time it was peaking. Does that make sense? The fact that there are people still calling Carly Rae Jespen a one-hit wonder says a lot, but by the true definition, she is not.

She is a one hit wonder. Look how many noted "one hit wonders" have had 1 or 2 other "hits" under their belt but .. their sole recognition that they are known for is just one SONG. So for now we can say acts like Gotye, Carly Rae and Fun. are one hit wonders.

Fun. has gone a bit further towards proving they're not a one-hit wonder. Radio is only playing Good Time out of goodwill from Call Me Maybe. They flat-out denied We Are Young until it was an unstoppable smash, and even after that, lent absolutely no support to Some Nights. And yet here we are, with Some Nights crawling its way up the ladder regardless and radio slowly starting to spin it.
