Whyy are people bringing up Baby One More Time? Yes, we know that album slayed lives but that came out in 1999. The question asks 2003 and beyond.
How much paparazzi follow Britney or Bey has nothing to do with career. Career is job, and their jobs are singer & dancer. Since 2003, Beyonce has been better at dancing and clearly has been better at singing. Britney hasnt sang or danced well for over 5 years now. The only great performances of Britney were pre-Kevin Federline.

It's all meaningless at the end of the day. People vote for their faves and vote against who they dislike. But when there are actual receipts being posted and you choose to overlook that and just vote based on who you like more then yes it is meaningless.
