I know the pain of being cheated on is hard. It happened to me before but I know I've felt like doing the same sometimes so if your friend really wants to make up with you than you should give him a chance and if he hurts you again than you can leave him for good but life is too short to hold grudges on people. Of course I don't know how close you were with him so just trust your gut and ignore me if your gut says so
