I mean that one girl used a Kenny Chesney song to explain there point. I mean if that doesn't tell you the delusion in these people I don't know what will.

I still do not understand why that is a bad thing though, both songs have similar content and music is about discovery. What's the problem with citing another country song? It's all in good faith. And if I like BTR-style music, I can't have that opinion? You call me delusional for being anti-conformist and having a different opinion? Well, fine, but I'm still gonna say it.
What I do not understand, though, is why Bahjat had the necessity of reaching so far as to call Avril immature through her songs and then cited Girlfriend and WTH as examples. Well, of course that's immature, I had said that before in a previous post. Her entire discography, however, is not and any person who knows half of Avril's discography knows that not all her songs are immature. I really don't want to take this matter to SYG but if y'all want some free entertainment then I don't mind at all.

Hey , I was just pointing out that Avril did not fully turn into a mature artist , or else she wouldn't have released something like WTH .
You can of course have a different opinion . but some just didn't convince me . it's like you were saying '' Cats fly ! '' .
I'm sorry if I went too far by the way .

It's okay, dude. I'm not looking for a fight and SYG wasn't even for insulting you personally or anything, I'm just very defensive of my faves and I cannot stand when people criticize them without knowing their music/life/etc...
What you have to understand is that Avril is versatile. She can be immature, she can be mature, she can be however she likes - she's very good at that. But is that necessarily a bad thing? Not in my eyes. If the public want immature songs, let them have it (I mean, we have TONS of immature songs charting on BB H100 right now). If they want maturity, well, she'll be here for that too. She's a marvelous songwriter (because she adds catchiness to immaturity for those kind of songs), just like Taylor Swift (in a different way, obviously), and that's undeniable.

OneRepublic was also there performing their new single, which is supposed to come out within the next few weeks. Hopefully this is an indication that Swift's will come just as swiftly.

I don't have a problem with BTR-type songs but I don't find that BTR is exactly a mature song. I find it to actually be one of her least mature songs ever. It wasn't about the quality but how you were comparing all the songs to how childish they are. I didn't mean to insult you I just was upset with the fighting and had to vent. I respect the fact that you didn't call me a bunch of curse words and stuff like that because I probably deserved that and I apologize.
About Chesney well I'm a fan of some of his stuff but his "deep" material is just very basic obvious stuff to me and where I live you'll hear hundreds of country songs that talk about the same thing in a very similar way that he does so to me he doesn't bring anything new in that area and thus I don't like it being compared to Taylor.
Avril Lavigne is a pretty legit artist and I think the comparisons of how her songs are immature is wrong even for WTH because well the album was held off forever and that song was actually probably written and recorded a good while before the album came out.

Taylor better bribe those stations to play her new single!!
If BTW, Boyfriend + GMAYL got first week ClearChannel deals, her single should as well... Especially considering the dealings going on between CC + BMR lately.
Slay em Tay!

I thought there was a possibility but Joe likes Taylor again, he was at one of her Speak Now concerts this year
I think after he first heard Last Kiss, he may have realized what he did and wanted to be friendly with her again because that song is just

I kinda agree that maybe he wanted to get back together and that maybe that's what inspired the "song about a particular guy she'll never get back with" that Jeff tweeted about.
