I actually think Madonna really, really liked Gaga initially but between the Whitney crediting for Born This Way (that made me do four takes back in the day and I had no idea about the fued. I don't think there was a fued at that point) and that one manager Gaga had (the one that said she created Gaga in Madonna's image in that oh so bitchy way), Madonna started finding Gaga annoying. Gaga had a phase where she was doing Madonna a bit too heavily (which I thought was a sign of adoration, fan worship as a non-invested observer), and I could kind of see that annoying Madonna too.

I think Madonna would have been all MadonnaandBritney about Gaga if she didn't feel disrespected by Gaga in some way. It takes one slip. Madonna seems to be a person where it just takes one slip too.

I think Madonna tends to bitch out a lot of her competitors too and it's partially she's a competitive bitch that can be jealous when somebody's getting a little more attention.

Maybe not in singles, but as an overall star she is. That is fact. As of right now she's the biggest thing to hit since 2008 unless you want to count Adele as the new biggest thing and even she hasn't had the cultural impact that Gaga has had. Madonna throws shade because deep down inside she is an insecure person who loves attention. She even admits so. This is the reason I love her-she owns who she is. She never gives pageant answers which I happen to admire since that is rare for a popstar. But at this point, it just makes her look really pathetic bullying a new popstar on the scene. She is freakin Madonna, she has sold 300 million records. No other person in this age would ever come close to that so she needs to relax with the shading. She has nothing to prove anymore.
Im not really liking this MDNA era at all. The album sucks and so do the antics. I didnt like the Superbowl performance either. She needed a supporting cast in order to perform adequately.
I happen to enjoy all popstars fairly but these shenanigans have me not taking to well to Madonna as of late. I dont think she is a vile woman, just a bit bitchy and very attention-hungry

But has she ever put this much effort to get her point across and continuously shade someone for a year and a half? Going as far as performing BTW on her tour before Express Yourself and She's Not Me? And none of the monsters believe they can ruin her. No ones trying to ruin her. Bottom line is, If she's going to continue to shade Gaga, let her get a new reason. This is getting very old.
