It looks like the album is headed towards an October/November release, so it could be a possibility. But I think they've learned from Cannibal's first week salesnot to release when there's competition.

And by the way @ the one saying BTW leaked; it was just some hours before it was avaible to stream, so I won't count it as a big leak. Femme Fatale leak would be much worse

ET leaked before California Gurls even came out, Katy tweeted that it's an old demo and then it ended up on Teenage Dream so it's possible plus I don't remember katy announcing anything about California Gurls because it just randomly premiered on her website, so should we really expect an announcement?
This is true. I think California Gurls leaked right before it got released though so it wasn't much of a leak.
