Idk if I like the single and video back to back idea.

For No Doubt and other acts it's different since they've been gone for years, but LG's music and videos are such big events. I think it'd be better to space them out a bit. Let the single itself and music speak before adding likely controversy/etc. with the video.
If she wants to do the video in early September, release the single approx. a month from now.

(If she even does that, maybe she'll do an Oct single instead and is just teasing super early on yet again.)

what day is the vmas anyway? because if the vmas is in early Sept..we could be looking at a Aug release which would explain why they are hyping so much but if she is teasing for an oct release i will b pissed

In this new era, I would love Gaga to come to the VMAs wearing a stunning couture dress by McQueen during the red carpet. Every time an award gets distributed her dress gets thinner and thinner until the end of the night where she's wearing nothing but patches to cover her **** and vagina.

Get over yourself. It's ONE commercial for her perfume FAME; it's not her next era. Regardless, Gaga will always make art and she doesn't want to be "ordinary." If you're bothered by that, then don't waste your breath on her. It's really not that hard. She's not thrusting it in your face, you're just reaching for something that's not even there and reaching hard.

Shakira doesn't need the headlines though. And I was talking more about her look and style. It's just aesthetically unappealing, and I don't think she'll be making any new fans with it.

I reckon Lady Gaga will continue to alienate her more-casual fans. It's fine, because she's got loads of stans, but it makes "The Lady Gaga Experience" really polarizing to observe. It seems like her die-hard fans are getting more and more obsessive over her, but the casual market is becoming more distant.

I think Nicki Minaj is a good example of somebody who balances it out. Lady Gaga needs to soften herself up a bit I think. I'd hate for her to become out of touch with what's popular.
