I am not really into Country but the way Aldean's material is received amazes me.

About Whistle... it has an infectious melody, but I just can't cope with the grossness of its "sung metaphore".

I am picturing Florida bragging about it and all I can think is "ewwww"

Anyway, I am waiting for Pink or No Doubt to reach the top (and by the way I loved Wide Awake on top... I would have had no problems with it staying there a bit longer, I really like that song).

Jason Aldean has done amazing in the last two years, he sold a lot of songs last year and his album MY KINDA PARTY sold like more than 2,6M and still holding on; but at the same time his success is somehow overshadowed by female country stars, which I don't think is fair.
