Gaga has been around for about 3 to 4yrs. And the fact she sold that much means that by her next album she will outsell Rihanna in a shorter amount of time. So putting Gaga there made it worse not better. Rihanna has release 6 albums and sold a litter over 8 million, that's horrible. Beyonce has release less albums and sold more, some girls outsold Rihanna with one album.

1. Kelly is a white lady with country crossover appeal. They buy albums. Rihanna is a pop girl with urban appeal. Black people and teens hardly buy albums lol

2. Those to albums were released in the early 2000s when illegal downloading wasnt at its peak.

Not to mention after Breakaway, your fav has been unable to hit 1 million album sales.

No. The 8.392 million is for her six studio releases. It is clearly stated in the original Chart Watch article.

And either way, bot Gaga's and Rihanna's totals are slightly low in m total - sales for Rihanna's remix albums haven't been updated in a while and none of Gaga's releases are up-to-date besides Born This Way at about 2.2 million.

Regardless, congrats to Rihanna - 1.4 million per albums is great for this market.

I haven't anyone compare her to Beyoncé in this thread, and even if they had Rihanna debuted solo only two years after Beyoncé. Not to mention this would not be the first time they've been compared, essentially in this very situation by Rihannas own fans.

its not that bad seeing as rihanna only uses a album for a couple months at best then makes a new one... if she spent time promoting it for years like bey or katy she would sell more but i doubt rihanna really cares tbh
