Poor V V, always a bridesmaid This song also came in #2 in the UK Eccentrics rate. It really is the best song she's done. It's her only song to make any chart, going #34 in the UK and #67 in the US. The feel-good, old-school sound really works here. The sound of impending doom is in V V's voice, but the song still maintains a happy tone throughout. Who doesn't love yelling, "BABY THERE'S A SHARK IN THE WATER!"? Congrats, V V!

So that means the winner is Katy B! "Katy on a Mission" is the debut single from Baby Katy, and it's really a great example of how to do a dubstep pop song. Not the over-the-top brostep instrumental bridges we've been getting recently in pop, but a nice, relaxed dubstep beat. In the song, Katy tells her story of a typical night at the club. She paints such a vivid picture for us. "My limbs seem to move what the beat dictates me / I push in to the middle, the sound becomes a part of me / Taking me back to that sweet familiarity / Making my adrenaline rise, I feel the eyes on me" - example of really good songwriting!! The song has the effect of making anyone who listens to it feel automatically 50% cooler because Katy B is a cool gal with her cool voice. Maybe that's why it went all the way to #5 on the UK Charts. This song is a fantastic bop! Congrats Katy!

A month's work is finally complete This was by far the most challenging rate I've ever done! 85 songs multiplied by 26 participants equals 2,210 votes! It was a big task to take on, but I really enjoyed having all of you participate! We almost got to 1,500 posts in the thread So many fights, so much stanning; it was always entertaining to see your reactions to the results!

I'm surprised but a little pleased that Witches Brew only got five. Lights should have been below Nuclear Seasons and the top 2 is pretty great with me. I think I may have preferred VV to be #1, but too many people would have been pissed so this probably was the best way to end it.

Thank you Lord! Katy on a Mission was disgustingly underrated by me, but I've repented and it's been of rotation ever since. Even though I still prefer Witches' Brew, this is completely deserved.
