I think it's normal, LFN and TOTGA had a lot of competition when they were on the charts. And they were 5th and 6th singles. Then POM faced the new BB streaming rule. And let's be honest, it was not her best single and the video was weak. I love POM and still use it, though

Anyways correlations does not implementation causation. Generally speaking, only lead singles have many weeks at #1. Look at the past #1s for the past two years.

Party Rock Anthem - 6 weeks
We Found Love - 10 weeks
Born This Way - 6 weeks
We Are Young - 6 weeks
Some Body That I Used To Know - 8 weeks
Call Me Maybe - 6-10 weeks

All lead singles
