Not arguing about the classic singles though although Thriller the song really isn't that good at all...probably his most overrated song ever, and I've listened to his discography top to bottom.

I don't think it was filler at all. I happen to think it's an underrated lush ballad, and I still hear it on radio (it wasn't even released to radio). I could hear the influences in Usher's "There Goes My Baby."

but thriller is better i mean im a gaga fan but btw has to be one of the worst, overhyped albums ive ever heard, its to overdone, the production is dated, and its just a mess, thriller on the other hand has flawless/iconic songs such "the girl is mine", "beat it", and "billie jean". i love gaga but i dont use btw (beside EOG and hair), thriller is my ****.

Bitches need to read the OP and see that it asks which one do you prefer not which one was more successful. They're both just two pieces of music so I don't see how it's "blasphemy" or "shameful". Michael is not the god of music.

They act like all music released by Gaga is legendary and the best out there. It's not even about success, BTW is a terribly dated mess no shade.

It's definitely a valid opinion that Thriller isn't even MJ's best work, which many critics have said before. I love the album and I stan for MJ but it has it's flaws. Clearly BTW has its flaws too, but this poll is about personal PREFERENCE. Please treat it as such
