I guess selling out stadiums effortlessly worldwide and talked about in the media way more than Kesha is fading.

To be fair, when is Gaga talked about in the media anymore? Aside of a few gossip blogs, I haven't seen her appear on News shows, Television, Newspapers, and big name Magazines.

Some things that are similar to recent headlines:
"Gaga offends Asian fans with tweets", "Indonesian Lady Gaga concert canceled", "Gaga to announce album title in September", "Dumb people get pressed/offended over new Gaga song's title"...

When you have the full support of some of the biggest legends in the music industry, continue to sell out stadiums worldwide, constantly break records, and cause media shitstorms without even trying...you're not fading.

First off Gaga selling out stadiums has NOTHING to do with whether she's fading or not. Some people are performers and people will ALWAYS go to their tours, look at Madonna. Flop singles+album and on her way to having the most successful tour.

The GP isn't really here for either, if Gaga drops the seriousness-relegious refrences etc she'll DOMINATE. Kesha had luck at the beggining, but quite frankly I doubt she;;; be able to smash again.

Imagine if them and Rih all released all their singles on the same day? iTunes might crash

Yes, me and 500k others in the US alone. Which is pretty impressive when you consider it was crafted entirely in less than a handful of weeks, spawned only two singles, and was all but abandoned after about only a month's worth of promo.

I LIKE THEM EQUALLY, so before anyone calls me biased let me clarify that im not. I've been looking through some of the previous pages and I just had to say something. This is my honest and what I believe to be truthful opinion:

Ke$ha is the type of pop artist that caters to Top 40 expectations on a more blatantly commercial level.
Lady Gaga is the type of pop artist that tries really hard to think outside of the box while still very much staying in the commercial box, so to speak.

Lady Gaga is the bigger pop star, hands down. Ke$ha had major success but not quite in the same way....she has more of a niche audience which is why someone like her plays theatres and gaga plays stadiums/arenas.

This doesn't make either better than the other. They're both commercial pop artists, they just approach their craft differently. One is obviously more accessible than the other, so when Ke$ha releases a hit song the radio will eat it up. Gaga takes time to settle in, even back during her year of peak popularity.

Flash back to 2009/2010 Ke$ha was popular but Gaga was more popular. Flashback to 2011 Gaga was infamous and Ke$ha was popular.

In terms of who will be bigger upon the release of their albums I cannot say. It depends:

Gaga is infamous. This may not be 2010 anymore but she's still one of the biggest names around and she can still slay given her music remains accessible. Gaga hasn't had major radio play since Poker Face because everything she released after that album wasn't quite as easily radio friendly. But, her discography in my opinion is above Ke$ha because shes sort of adventurous in terms of what shes willing to do. Thats her strength, shes pretentious but it works to her advantage in the end despite the radio snubbing her.

Ke$ha can come back strong given her lead single is what the public wants. Ke$ha tries to be individual and in a way she is, but shes still the type of pop star that gives the public what they want. Whats awesome about Ke$ha is her lack of an artificial facade. She serves us pop fluff and shes unapologetically fun and honest about it which is refreshing.

They both write their own music and attempt to bring something slightly different than their peers.
I believe they can both slay simultaneously because they both serve us 2 different types of awesome commercial pop music.

*sidenote*
All stans are mean and can be obnoxiously rude, monsters just get put on blast.
Madonna stans,
Justin Beiber stans,
Britney stans,
Nicki stans,
.....the list goes on.

Lol I tried to be as un-biased as possible.
ALSO you said you don't hear about Gaga as much as you used to.:

Gaga is an unusual case because since her rise to stardom people have been referring to her as if shes been around for ages but everyone forgets her mainstream career is only 3 years old. This burdens her with the inability to falter even slightly. She was put on a pedestal too early in her career therefore any underperformance is viewed as a death sentence.
This is partially her fault for talking about herself the way that she does and partially the medias fault for building her up as this icon when her career was only in its infancy.
Its both unfair and inevitable.
Ever since Born This Way the general public had been trained to view her as "more than your average pop star" which has gotten quite sickening for some. She needs to come back for those who grew tired of the elitist air surrounding her image.
Due to her special circumstance, I think if this next era underperforms she'll definitely be written off.
But, i don't think shes the type to let that happen to herself....at least I hope not. Because when shes on top shes pretty strong.
