It's kinda obvious Gaga will be bigger.

1) Unlike Kesha, she's simple shooting for what she's already had, which is a lot easier then reaching for what you've yet to experience (Keha & massive worldwide success)

2) Gaga knows she has to deliver, and in a very specific way. Just watching her stress the fact that "Princess DIE" was not reflective of the new album shows her awareness.

Six singles in for Gaga, she had two #1 hits, a #2 that was blocked for seven weeks, a #3, two #5 hits, and a #6.
In the BTW era alone she had a six-week #1 (that was bigger than Ke$ha's #1-debuting hit), a #3, a #6, and a #10. Compare that to the first four Animal singles and you have very similar success overall with a slight edge given by TiK ToK. And remember the BTW era was "disappointing".

Agreed.

Apparently Gaga is going down the fun route for this era which probably means her music will be more commercial this time around. Let's be honest, Judas, You and I, Born This Way, and to some extent, Marry The Night and The Edge of Glory were never suited for the pop radio environment. They got where they did on the strength of Lady Gaga's name. They're still excellent songs though (IMO).
